形態特徵

• A biennual fleshy herb; stems 20–60 cm long, ascending or erect.
• Leaves alternate, sessile, spathulate-oblanceolate, 10–15 mm long, 2–4 mm broad, rounded or obtuse at apex, stiped at base, entire; axillary bulblets 4–6, rarely 2 or 8–10.
• Flowers in terminal cymes, 5-merous; sepals free, lanceolate to oblanceolate, 2–4 mm long, greenish, ascending at the blossom; petals free, linear-oblanceolate to narrow-oblanceolate, 4–5 mm long, acute at apex, plat-spreading at blossom, yellow; stamens shorter than petals, dark yellow at mature, almost no pollen grain; glands obovate, 0.6 mm long, semi-hyaline white; pistils 3–4 mm long, ovary 2.5–3 mm long, connate about 1 mm at base; style 1 mm long.
• usually no seed; asexual reproduction by axillary buds.

Flowering period from April to June.

分布

• 台灣 : only found in Chitou, a naturalized species.
• 世界 : Southern China and Japan.
